What We Believe:

  1. BulletWe believe that the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments are the infallible, inspired Word of God. We are guided in their interpretation by God’s Holy Spirit, who intercedes on our behalf in all matters of faith and practice.

  2. BulletWe believe in the Holy Trinity. There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  3. BulletWe believe that all are sinners and unable to save themselves from God’s displeasure, except by His mercy.

  4. BulletWe believe that salvation is by God alone. God sovereignly chooses those He will save. In this, God’s choice is based upon the gift of Grace, not on individual merit or foreseen faith.

  5. BulletBeing assured of this Grace, believers are freed to spend their time modeling the Kingdom of God in this world; doing justice, loving kindness, and walking humbly with their God.

  6. BulletWe believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who through His perfect life and sacrificial death atoned for the sins of all who will trust in Him alone for salvation.

  7. BulletWe believe that the Holy Spirit indwells God’s people and gives them the strength and wisdom to trust Christ and follow Him.

  8. BulletWe believe that all aspects of our lives are to be lived to the glory of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Who We Are:

As a church, we embrace the spirit of God by hearing, sharing and enacting the scripture lessons in the Bible.

Our doors are open to our community every week for service meetings, every Sunday for worship & church school and very often for special events, such as our Easter sunrise service held on an east facing hill on a local farm.

Our hearts are open every day to care for one another and for those we encounter in our daily interactions.

As a Church family we are committed to:

- Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior;

- Biblical teaching and preaching that speaks to real                                                                             world issues;

- Relationships; Children and Youth;

- Missions both local and global; Engaging worship;     Growing in faith!

We are proud to be the Community Presbyterian Church and strive every day to live up to our name.
